KU overwhelms Texas Southern in record-setting 114-71 victory

Concerns about Kansas’ three-point shooting may have been a bit premature after three games of the 2017-18 season.

The Jayhawks, who hit 8 of 28 threes in a four-point victory over Kentucky on Nov. 14 and entered Tuesday’s game against Texas Southern at 39.8 percent from behind the arc, came out firing early and often — and with accuracy — in a record-setting 114-71 victory over the Tigers at Allen Fieldhouse.
