The Jayhawks, who hit 8 of 28 threes in a four-point victory over Kentucky on Nov. 14 and entered Tuesday’s game against Texas Southern at 39.8 percent from behind the arc, came out firing early and often — and with accuracy — in a record-setting 114-71 victory over the Tigers at Allen Fieldhouse.
KU (4-0), which was led by Svi Mykhailiuk’s five threes and 21 points, converted a school-record 19 three-pointers, shattering the record of 16 set against Baylor on Jan.
