Bryce Thompson, a 6-foot-3 sophomore combo guard from Tulsa (Okla.) Washington High School, whose dad, Rod Thompson, played for Kansas coach Bill Self for one season at Tulsa, has received a scholarship offer from KU, Bryce reported on Twitter.
Thompson, the country’s No. 45 rated player in the class of 2020 by Rivals.com, also is being recruited by Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Tulsa, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Houston, Colorado, DePaul and others. He received scholarship offers from KU and Colorado after averaging 18.8 points a game for Oklahoma Run PWP (Playing With Purpose) at last weekend’s Under Armour Association Session One event in Duncanville, Texas.
