The Kansas football team has landed its best high school quarterback recruit ever. Now the hard part will be getting him to keep that pledge.
Lance Legendre, a Rivals four-star quarterback in the class of 2019, announced that he was committing to KU football and coach David Beaty on his Twitter account Monday morning. The nation's eighth-ranked dual-threat QB also has offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri and others.
“(KU coaches) were pretty fired up,” Legendre told Jon Kirby of JayhawkSlant. “They told me I can come in and we can all do some great things and build on it from there.
