KU basketball starter enters NBA Draft but doesn't hire agent | The Kansas City Star

Kansas sophomore center Udoka Azubuike will enter his name in the 2018 NBA Draft, KU announced on Friday.

Azubuike, a 7-footer from Delta, Nigeria, said he is not hiring an agent at this time.

"I'm going to wait and see where I stand among other bigs out there," Azubuike said in a release. "I appreciate everyone's support, but I'm not saying goodbye. I'm saying I want to find out. Like many other players, I'm curious."

Azubuike has until May 30 to remove his name from the draft pool if he wishes to return to school. He would be allowed in coming weeks to attend the NBA Combine (if invited) to receive feedback on his skills and possible position in the June 21 draft.
