LAWRENCE – Aaron Miles was sipping on a Coca-Cola and was aware of the can in his hand when asked about his rehabilitation.
The all-time assists leader at Kansas has played professionally, both in the NBA Developmental League and overseas, but a hip injury forced him into a six-month recovery, and a chance to reunite with the Jayhawks.
“I probably shouldn’t be saying this drinking a Coke,’’ said Miles, “but I’m pretty good now. It’s usually about a six-month process.
“It happened back in August, and I’m about where I should be, but I haven’t had enough time to devote towards rehab as much as I want.
