The Kansas basketball team’s non-conference schedule is incredibly challenging, and the next big game is against the UConn Huskies. The Jayhawks have played North Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Tennessee, and they still have this matchup with the Huskies, as well as games against Missouri and North Carolina State. Whew!
The UConn program is arguably the most successful one of the 21st century. Starting in 1999, the Huskies have won an amazing six national championships, most recently, winning back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.
This home-and-home series with UConn is great for college basketball as it pits an established, old guard blueblood against a new, modern blueblood, playing in front of both schools’ home crowds.
