Kansas Jayhawks Football at Ohio Bobcats: A (Semi) Statistical Recap

Related Topics: Kansas, Ohio

Things continue to look bad for Kansas football. There’s just no other way to say it at this point.

Ohio scored on its first three drives while Kansas struggled to get going, putting the Jayhawks in an 18-0 hole early.

Coaching woes continue for Kansas both offensively and defensively. On offense, the line and quarterback were often on different pages of the playbook. Compounding the matter is Bender’s indecisiveness in the pocket, especially when under pressure (which is often). Bender got sacked five times.

Defensively, Ohio gashed Kansas repeatedly, averaging 7.0 yards per play, and even added a two-point conversion on a swinging gate, which should NEVER happen.
