Former Illinois guard Tre White has seen his fair share of teams since the 2022-23 season. White originally committed to the Jayhawks before joining USC. After one season with the Trojans, White moved to Louisville, then, after one season, White moved again to Illinois. Before finally joining Bill Self and the Jayhawks.
Throughout his tenure, White’s production has still been steady, seeing an average of 10.5 points per game combined with one assist, .6 steals, and 1.3 turnovers. The biggest part of White’s game? The monster 5.4 rebounds he has been able to acquire over his career.
It would be easy for White to be hard to feel at home, considering his multiple stops in his career, but White opened up on the unity of his latest team after Kansas’ 71-35 win over Fort Hays State on Tuesday.
