The brackets are officially out, and Kansas has been given a 4-seed in the Midwest Region of the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

KU will take on 13-seed Northeastern. They will match up in Salt Lake City on Thursday, March 21. Tipoff is still TBA. Whichever squad prevails will take on the winner of (5) Auburn and (12) New Mexico State, with that winner moving on to the Sweet 16 and the regional round to be played in Kansas City.

The rest of KU’s region features (1) North Carolina, (2) Kentucky, and (3) Houston. That mean there is a potential matchup with North Carolina at Sprint Center in the Sweet 16.
