Kansas football has proved something in its past two games: the Jayhawks still have a long way to go until they’re competing with the best or even the average of the Big 12.
The Jayhawk offense seems to only have two modes.
One version is high-flying, fun to watch, and puts up points on the board. It totaled over 500 yards against Texas and Texas Tech and had fans optimistic for the short and long-term future.
The other version looks like the Kansas football that fans have become accustomed to; totally inept, humiliating, and just all-around bad.
