Kansas football: Two Jayhawks will attend 2020 NFL Combine

Two Kansas football seniors will be competing in the NFL Combine starting on Sunday, February 23: Azur Kamara, and Hakeem Adeniji. The two Jayhawks both had standout careers at Kansas, and now they’ll get their shots to try and make it on NFL rosters.

Hakeem Adeniji was an underrecruited high school prospect when he signed with the Jayhawks. He’d go on to start in every game of his career at Kansas, becoming an All-Big 12 offensive tackle. According to the NFL, offensive linemen will begin workouts on February 28. Whether or not Adeniji gets drafted or not is up in the air, but he’ll probably get picked up in free agency at the very least.
