It’s no secret that Kansas football has struggled to compete with teams in the Big 12 for the better part of a decade. The Jayhawks have finished last place in the conference for the past five seasons in a row, and the goal for 2020 should be to break that streak.
The Jayhawks came very close last season to picking up a few conference wins, although they ultimately came up short. Against West Virginia at home, Kansas was defeated by a close 24-29 score in a highly contested game.
Later in the season on the road against Texas, the Jayhawks went back in forth with the Longhorns in a good ole Big 12 shootout.
