After joining Kansas football and 2017, Zac Woodfin, the Jayhawks’ strength coach, left the program. It was announced officially last Thursday that Missouri would hire Woodfin.
The loss hurts the Jayhawks, not only because they lost a valuable member of their staff, but also because of the destination of Woodfin’s new team. The Tigers’ head coach Eliah Drinkwitz made a statement saying:
“Zac brings energy, expertise and toughness to Mizzou. He’s played and developed players at the highest level and we can’t wait for him to get started with our program.”
Kansas was Woodfin’s first job in a power-five conference.
