Kansas football: Starting center key to beating Baylor

Over 9 quarters in mid-October, the Kansas football team didn’t score. As a matter of fact, David Beaty’s Jayhawks barely made any first downs and were run off the field on prime-time television in Fort Worth. On the other hand, the Air Raid offense returned and looked good against the ‘Cats last Saturday.

One Jayhawk player made the difference. Starting Center Mesa Ribordy led the offensive line against KSU. It is difficult to believe one player might make such an impact on the team. Ask Carter Stanley what it meant to him. It allowed the sophomore quarterback time to throw for over 400 yards.
