Ten seasons ago, Kansas football fans were enjoying some of the best of times. The Jayhawks were coming off an amazing 2007 season. The stands at Memorial Stadium were 50,000 plus full to watch one of the best teams in Jayhawk history.
That 2007 team finished with a win in the BCS Orange Bowl. As a matter of fact, a friend told me she was shopping at a big box store in Lawrence last week. The retailer had a big screen television above an area with KU merchandise. The television featured a replay of the Orange Bowl victory over Virginia Tech.
