Kansas football fans remain at odds over Monday’s statement from the University Chancellor on the state of the football program. Chancellor Doug Girod said, “I maintain my belief that Sheahon (Zenger) and Coach Beaty have the right long-term vision and are doing things the right way.”
I have spoken with a number of fans did not appreciate the statement and want change. On the other hand, there are those who appreciated Dr. Girod’s comments. As a matter of fact, coach Beaty said he is very thankful.
I certainly didn’t expect that. But what it does is it really helps the future of KU football.
