Kansas football needs a change at starting quarterback

The Kansas football team is looking for a spark on offense. The Air Raid offense never arrived in Ames Iowa. The Cyclones held the Jayhawks to five first downs in the rain. With starting center Mesa Ribordy and star running back Kahlil Herbert out, the Jayhawks gained just over 100-yards and only 44 through the air.

David Beaty needs to do something dramatic as the team heads into the final six games of the season. The Jayhawks have six opportunities to “write a great ending,” according to Beaty during Tuesday’s media briefing. A great ending is a good idea because the beginning started fine but it’s been anything but great since.
