The loss to Missouri may still sting, but after the bye in week three, Kansas must turn its focus to the quickly approaching home stand.
The Jayhawks are about to enter an extremely pivotal stretch, as they have two very winnable games coming up in the Booth. The first game of this mini-stretch will be on Saturday, September 20th, against KU's first Big 12 opponent of the season, the West Virginia Mountaineers. The latter will be against Cincinnati a week later on Saturday, September 27th.
West Virginia comes into this game with a confusing 2-1 record. In their two victories, the Mountaineers looked impressive, with a 45-3 win over Robert Morris, and a 17-10 overtime win over Pitt.
