Kansas football: Jayhawks need to be ‘consistently good, not occasionally great’

The Kansas football offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki is going to be fun to quote this year. He has a lot of knowledge and uses his words well.

When speaking to the media Kotelnicki said he looks for a quarterback to be “consistently good, not occasionally great.”

This is good news because if the Jayhawks need anything it’s consistency.

This also sheds some light on which way the Jayhawks are leaning for a starting quarterback. It’s been reported that both Jason Bean and Jalon Daniels, while extremely talented, have had some consistency issues.
