Kansas football: Four wins would be a great start to the Les Miles era

At just about any other program in the country, a four-win season would be an utter disappointment, and it should be. Coaches get paid millions of dollars and football programs receive ridiculous amounts of funding, so fans have the right to expect a decent team. But this isn’t just any team, it’s Kansas football.

To put things into perspective, the Jayhawks won 33 games between 2005 and 2008. Including the three wins this season, the Jayhawks have won a total of 21 games since 2008, that’s an average of fewer than two wins per season over the last 11 years.
