Per a report from the Lawrence Journal World, Quiv Gonzalez has been dismissed from the Kansas football program for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Head coach David Beaty has yet to publicly comment on the dismissal.
Gonzalez came to KU as a transfer from Texas A&M. He was recruited to College Station by Beaty as a member of the class of 2013. Depending on your source, he was either a four or five-star recruit coming out of Cedar Hill HS in Texas.
After redshirting his transfer year of 2015, he caught 62 balls for 729 yards and 3 TD’s for Kansas in 2016.
