Kansas football: David Beaty gets huge help for Jayhawk defense

David Beaty needs all the help he can get heading into his fourth season leading the Kansas football program. A year ago, Beaty convinced Doug Meacham to bring his Air-Raid offense from Fort Worth. Now Beaty is reportedly bringing a former Jayhawk assistant with an impressive track record on the defensive side of the ball back to Lawrence, according to a media release from KU Athletics. Bill Miller coached linebackers and was co-defensive coordinator for Mark Mangino in 2009.
