There are few things to celebrate about the 2017 Kansas football season. Steven Sims, Jr. gave fans something to celebrate Saturday. The junior wide receiver played an amazing game and the Big 12 Conference noticed. As a matter of fact, it is about time they noticed a Jayhawk again this season.
I’m still mad that the conference didn’t give Kahlil Herbert at least a co-offensive player of the week after running for almost 300-yards against West Virginia. It made no sense. The Big 12 made up for it this week naming Steven Sims, Jr., co-offensive player of the week.
