Kansas football’s 2021 recruiting class is really starting to take off. The newest recruit is Edgar Amaya, an offensive lineman out of Alabama who’s a promising prospect for head coach Les Miles and the Jayhawks.
Amaya is an Alabama native and the second offensive lineman to commit to the 2021 class. He joins fellow lineman and three-star recruit De’Kedrick Sterns of Texas.
As just a three-star recruit, Amaya had numerous offers from schools like Illinois, Navy, Air Force, Tulane, Dartmouth, and others. He also received attention from Alabama and Tennessee, even visiting the Crimson Tide a couple of months ago.
