Kansas football fans are hungry for a Big 12 conference victory. The Jayhawks face a winless Baylor team Saturday led by quarterback Zach Smith. The sophomore from Grandview, Texas played in Baylor’s 49-7 victory over the Jayhawks last season. He completed 4 of 8 passes for 63 yards in mop up duty for starter Seth Russell.
After starting four games to finish last season Smith is right behind TCU’s Kenny Hill in passing efficiency on the season. That puts him just ahead of the Jayhawks Peyton Bender or Carter Stanley.
