Kansas basketball’s Bryce Thompson chosen as McDonald’s All American

Kansas basketball landed one five-star recruit in their 2020 class, combo guard Bryce Thompson. The Oklahoma native is currently ranked as the no. nineteen overall recruit in the country by both Rivals and 247 Sports.

Before committing to Bill Self and the Jayhawks, Thompson had offers from other major schools like North Carolina, Michigan State, Texas Tech, and Colorado. Once committed, Thompson signed his national letter of intent on November 13.

Now the Booker T. Washington High School senior has another impressive honor: being selected for the McDonald’s All American Game. It’s one of the most prestigious accolades a high school hooper can get since the All Americans are ranked as some of the highest recruits in the country.
