Kansas basketball: Udoka Azubuike leads Jayhawks over Cyclones

The Kansas basketball team continued to find way to create nail-biter finishes. The Jayhawks had a comfortable 12-point lead with just over 3 minutes to play. Bill Self’s guys hung in over the final seconds to win their sixth Big 12 road game of the season.

Udoka Azubuike has not played many minutes on the road this season. The 7-foot sophomore was the Jayhawk hero in Ames. Iowa State simply could not stop him. Azubuike played just 22 minutes but made the most of it. Dok was ready for action from the opening tip. As a matter of fact, he scored the Jayhawks first 7 points and hit 9 of 10 shots against the “Clones.
