Between last season and this season, Kansas basketball has made a major improvement: winning road games. The 2018-19 team struggled to play on the road, and it ultimately cost them the Jayhawks’ their Big 12 title streak.
Last season, every single one of Kansas’ losses in the regular season came on the road. Their total record away from Allen Fieldhouse was 7-8 over the course of the regular season, and 3-7 in Big 12 play. On one hand, that speaks to how big of an advantage Allen Fieldhouse is, on the other, it exposes a fundamental flaw with the team.
