Finally, Kansas basketball picked up its first commitment for the class of 2020. Tyon Grant-Foster is a six-foot-six-inch 190 pound small forward from Kansas City, Kansas who graduated from KC Schlagle High School. Grant-Foster has made it clear how being close to home influenced his decision to commit to Kansas:
“I felt like I would have the same opportunities at other schools, but if I can get this opportunity and I can do it at home, close to where I’m from, that’s a blessing. It would be a real bad idea if I turned it down.” – yon Grant-Foster from the Lawrence Journal World
