I will be first to admit that at times I take Kansas basketball coach Bill Self for granted. As a matter of fact, I doubt any other fans do that. The Jayhawks are so very fortunate he decided to relocate to Lawrence in 1985. It was not joke on April 1, 2017 when the Basketball Hall of Fame announced they were going to honor him.
There were many exciting moments for the Kansas basketball program in 2017. The team earned another Big 12 Conference title. Number 13 in a row was not as difficult as many expected.
