Kansas basketball fans are excited about the upcoming regular season. We need to stop and enjoy the overwhelming success of the Bill Self era. More success arrived Thursday. The Big 12 Conference gave the 2017 team some big-time preseason love.
The conference player of the year is Jayhawk senior guard Devonte Graham. Wow, Graham earns an honor Frank Mason didn’t win. I thought Mason won everything except the ESPY. The last time a Jayhawk won the honor 2009. Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins took the honors that year.
This is wonderful news for Graham and he deserves it.
