Kansas basketball announced the date for the university’s 39th annual Late Night in the Phog in Allen Fieldhouse.
Late Night in the Phog is the unofficial beginning of the Kansas Jayhawks season. Players, coaches, and fans come together in legendary Allen Fieldhouse for activities, speeches, and a friendly scrimmage.
The 2023 edition of Late Night in the Phog — the 39th in school history — will occur on Oct. 6, 2023. It’ll begin exactly one month before KU’s regular-season opener vs. North Carolina Central.
The entertainers that will appear have not been announced yet, but KU has brought in rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Lil Yachty, and 2 Chainz in the past (Let’s not mention what happened when Snoop Dogg touched down in Lawrence).
