In a hard-fought victory, Kansas basketball took down their in-state rival Kansas State to remain undefeated in conference play this season. The win over Kansas State combined with a Baylor loss to TCU moved Kansas into sole possession of first place in the Big 12.
As it stands now, Kansas has a conference record of 15-1, while the Bears are sitting at 14-2. With just three games left in the regular season, this is great timing. If the Jayhawks win out, they’ll win the Big 12 outright; however, they can still drop one game and be tied for the league title with the Bears.
