Raise your hand if you thought the Jayhawks would waltz into Morgantown and come away with a win. That’s what I thought, and for the record, I didn’t raise my hand either. Better Jayhawk teams than this one have come away from West Virginia Coliseum against lesser WVU teams with an “L.” So really, losing wasn’t a big deal. I was just hoping to lose pretty. I honestly didn’t believe that winning ugly was an option.
Before the Kansas State game,I didn’t think that KU was a team capable of grinding its way to a victory.
