Kansas basketball commit named Gatorade’s Oklahoma Player of the Year

Bryce Thompson has been receiving all kinds of national awards and recognitions. The Kansas basketball commit was recently named Gatorade’s Player of the Year in the state of Oklahoma, but this isn’t the first time he’s earned the award. This is actually the second year in a row that Thompson has been named Gatorade’s Player of the Year in Oklahoma.

Thompson was also selected as a McDonald’s All-American; however, the game was unfortunately canceled due to the rise of COVID-19.

During his senior year of high school, the high school phenom recorded 24.6 points per game.
