The Kansas Jayhawks (5-0-2) were able to tally their second win on a string with a superb 4-0 victory over Yale (2-3-0) in what was the penultimate out-of-conference matchup for Nate Lie’s side as conference play looms.
It took just seven minutes before Jayhawk Livvy Moore took the first goal of the night, thanks to a well-structured pressing move that saw the ball bounce to Moore, who then quickly sent the shot to the bottom-left corner of the net, giving the Jayhawks an early 1-0 lead.
While it took another 30 minutes for Kansas to notch another goal, the Jayhawks kept the Bulldogs on their heels with a squared pass into the middle of the box to Jordan Rowan, before Rowan, in front of a near-open net, brought the lead to 2-0.
