CartéAre Gordon, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound junior forward from Webster Groves (Mo.) High School has cut his list of colleges to 11. The schools, as reported on his Twitter account, are: Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Saint Louis, Kentucky, Texas, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Southern California, SMU and St. John’s.
Gordon, who is ranked No. 18 in the Class of 2018 by Rivals.com, recently made an unofficial visit to Missouri. He told Scout.com’s Black and Gold Illustrated he is planning trips to KU and Notre Dame.
Gordon scored five points and grabbed seven rebounds in the United States’ 96-56 victory over Turkey in the FIBA Under 17 World Championship title game on July 3 in Zaragoza, Spain.
