With the 2025-26 NBA season getting underway, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has been getting back to fitness after missing out on the majority of the 2024-25 season due to injury.
The former Jayhawk has returned well, including a 25-point outing in a 139-134 overtime win against the Washington Wizards. Yet last night showed the MVP-level form that Embiid is capable of. Embiid totaled a monster 29 points, six rebounds, four assists, one block, two turnovers, and three fouls. The most impressive part of Embiid’s performances lies in the fact that the former MVP did it all in 26 minutes and with an efficient 10-16 rate from the field.
