Louis King, a 6-foot-7 senior small forward from Hudson Catholic High School in Columbus, N.J., who is ranked No. 23 in the recruiting Class of 2018 by Rivals.com, on Thursday listed Kansas as one of his five finalists.
The others, as reported by Zagsblog.com, include Oregon, North Carolina State, Seton Hall and Purdue.
King — who averaged 13.3 points., 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game his junior year at Hudson Catholic — trimmed UConn, Syracuse and Maryland from his list. At one time, Louisville and St. John’s also were being considered.
King, a member of the 2017 bronze-medal winning USA Basketball Under-19 World Cup team, visited Oregon last weekend.
