There were a lot of questions headed into tonight's game against West Virginia. The Mountaineers presented an interesting challenge for Kansas, with two talented big men going up against a KU team with arguably none. Fortunately, David McCormack and the Jayhawks came through in a big way, leading the team to victory.
The first half was tight, as expected in a game between two top 10 conference opponents. The Jayhawks entered the locker room facing a slim deficit, down 36-35.
The Mountaineers extended the lead to three coming out of the break, but things steadily worked in KU's in favor as the half went on.
