Iowa State shuts out Kansas, 45-0

Kansas was once again not competitive in a road environment as Iowa State slowly built a lead and never let KU get anything going offensively.

The KU defense actually played well, at least in the first half, as Iowa State only scored two offensive touchdowns - and both of those drives started inside the Kansas 25-yard line. In fact, Kansas forced 9 Iowa State punts and a missed field goal - all in all not a terrible day.

But KU’s offense and special teams were atrocious, which allowed the Cyclones to build up a 24-0 halftime lead and never look back in the second half.
