Kansas enters the contest with a ranking of #6 by the AP, while Baylor comes in at #2. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #15 and the Bears at #2. The preseason conference coaches poll picked BU to win the Big 12 this year.
Kansas leads the overall series against Baylor by a 33-6 count. The Bears are 3-14 against KU in Waco. The most recent meeting between the two programs was a 64-61 KU win in Waco in February of last year.
