This week was a different story, with two victories (including a rare road win) keeping KU in the hunt for the Big 12 title. A big reason for the shift has been the play of Quentin Grimes. The stat line from Grimes’ last two games looks more like what Jayhawk fans expected of the freshman coming into the season: 29 points (10-19 and 7-13 from 3), seven rebounds, and five assists.
