The governor of Kansas needs to declare it Bill Self week. This week the Jayhawk head coach will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. There are dozens of responsibilities, receptions and events before the actual enshrinement ceremony.
I am sure nobody reading this takes Kansas basketball coach Bill Self for granted. On the other hand, at times we need to take time to slow down and really appreciate what Self does and what he has done for the game we love. He certainly deserves this week’s special attention and more.
As a matter of fact, the Kansas basketball program is celebrating the Hall of Fame enshrinement with video comments from former players and coaches.
