Kansas basketball fans saw a lot of heroes at Allen Fieldhouse over the past week. The University honored members of the 2008 National Championship team. Two members of that team, former Jayhawk All-Americans Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins had their jerseys retired.
Last season’s National Player of the Year Frank Mason stopped in to check on his former running mate Devonte Graham. Some say Mason’s face on the Allen Fieldhouse big screen helped inspire the team to Saturday’s rally over West Virginia. Last season’s one and done star Josh Jackson made the trip to Lawrence to see the Jayhawks overwhelm the Sooners Monday night.
