Former KU wing Travis Releford signs deal with basketball team in Lebanon

Former University of Kansas basketball guard/forward Travis Releford has signed to play for Al-Mouttahed Tripoli in Lebanon this season, Eurobasket.com and Sportando.com have reported.

Releford, a 6-foot-6, 205-pounder out of Bishop Miege High School, played in Poland last season for King Szczecin. He has also played in Belgium (Okapi Aalstar), Canada (Power and River Lions), Finland (Helsinki Seagulls), Israel (Maccabi Kiryat Gat) and the NBA G-League (Salt Lake City).

“Year No. 5. Lets GOOOoo,” the 27-year-old Releford wrote on Twitter on a post that announced his “official signing” with Al-Mouttahed.
