Former KU guard Newman chooses representation; poll keeps Jayhawks at No. 1 | The Wichita Eagle

Former Kansas basketball guard Malik Newman has chosen Independent Sports and Entertainment (ISE) as his representation, Newman’s dad, Horatio Webster, revealed on Monday night.

ISE, according to its website, represents 300 individuals in the NBA, NFL and Major League Baseball.

Some other ISE clients: Jose Abreu, Andrew Bogut, Reggie Bullock, Demarcus Cousins, Gerald Green, Justin Verlander and many others. The company has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Indianapolis.

Newman, a 6-foot-3 sophomore from Jackson, Miss., averaged 14.2 points (on 46.3 percent shooting; 41.5 percent from three), 5.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game last season for the Jayhawks (31-8), who won Big 12 regular-season and postseason tournament titles and reached the Final Four.
