A three-star recruit out of high school, Sims has shattered every expectation since the moment he signed with Kansas. In his freshman year, Sims played in 11 games and started six, making an immediate impact on the Jayhawks offense.
Sims went on to have one of the best careers of a wide receiver in the history of Kansas football. He finished third in all-time in receptions with 214 receptions, second all-time in receiving yards with 2,582 yards, and second all-time in career touchdowns with 19.
After completing his four years at Kansas, Sims went undrafted and ended up signing with Washington Redskins.
