There is a big football game in Kansas City Sunday. Former Kansas football standout Dexter McDonald and the Oakland Raiders will visit Arrowhead Stadium. The winner will move ahead of the other for the AFC West championship and a possible playoff berth.
McDonald is coming home for the game. He played high school football at Kansas City Rockhurst and earned all-state honors in Missouri during his senior season when he intercepted 9 passes. It was a school record at the time.
McDonald did not have a particularly dramatic college football career. He saw action in 7 games during a red-shirt freshman season at KU and coach Turner Gill.
