Kansas has been able to turnaround from a disappointing Border Showdown loss against Missouri, the Jayhawks came up just short when it mattered most and eventually fell 42-31 in the first matchup since 2011.

After a long bye week, the Jayhawks were able to march to 1-0 in conference play thanks to a 41-10 win over West Virginia last week. Against the Mountaineers, the Jayhawks compiled 405 yards with 259 of them on the ground, thanks to Iowa transfer Leshon Williams, who totaled 129 yards, averaging 6.8 per carry with a touchdown to go along with a touchdown in the air thanks to a 39-yard reception.
